Dignity
We work alongside families — not for them. People lead the decisions that shape their own recovery, and every programme is built around their priorities.
About SIRI
A humanitarian initiative restoring dignity and rebuilding lives across Syria — from emergency relief to long-term recovery. We work alongside the families affected by crisis, not for them.

Our Mission
SIRI supports communities across Syria through relief, recovery, and long-term rebuilding. After years of crisis, millions of families are still without safe homes, clean water, or a stable income. We exist to change that — not with short-term handouts, but with recovery that lasts.
Every project begins where people are: in their neighbourhoods, with their priorities, building toward a future they choose for themselves. We measure success not by what we deliver, but by what communities can carry forward on their own.

Our Story
SIRI was founded by Syrians and humanitarian workers who refused to accept that relief should end at survival. We saw families given a tent but no path home, water trucked in but no well dug, aid delivered but dignity left behind.
Today we operate across nine governorates, partnering with local councils, engineers, and community leaders to turn emergency response into permanent recovery.
What Guides Us
We work alongside families — not for them. People lead the decisions that shape their own recovery, and every programme is built around their priorities.
We bridge the gap between emergency relief and lasting change — meeting urgent needs today while rebuilding the systems communities depend on.
We invest in what stays: homes, water, livelihoods, and local capacity — so communities can withstand the next shock without us.
How We Work
We start in the neighbourhood — mapping needs with the people who live them.
Communities help design each project, setting the priorities and the timeline.
We deliver — homes, water, mosques, and relief — with local teams and labour.
We hand over ownership and capacity so progress holds long after we leave.
Your support reaches families directly — funding relief today and the long work of rebuilding tomorrow. Stand with Syria's communities.
